Undeniably the best risotto and possibly the best pasta in Manila can be found in this cozy, dimly-lit restaurant with an understated elegance. The setting is perfect for small groups or romantic dinners. The authentic Italian food has also made the restaurant popular with the Makati business lunch crowd.
Practically every dish is good, from start to finish. The more popular dishes are the Gamberoni or Lobster in Orange Sauce, Linguine with Salmon and Caviar and Spaghetti Pescatore. Of course, one should not forget the risotto that we already mentioned, with four kinds available, such as the Risotto al Porcini and Risotto Marmara. And for dessert, one cannot go wrong with the rich Tiramisu.
There is a price tag attached to the food, but one will no doubt find one’s self patting one’s stomach in satisfaction after a L’Opera experience.
